ABOUT RYNE
Ryne Burds is a dynamic professional specializing in instructional design and technology, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to this field. He moved to Florida after spending 25 years in Iowa. It was in Iowa where he began his journey in higher education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with a Minor in German from the University of Northern Iowa in May 2014.
Recognized for his commitment to student development and success, Ryne completed a Master of Arts in Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs at the University of Northern Iowa in May 2016. Following his passion for higher education, Ryne relocated to Florida and began working at The University of Tampa.
Ryne is on track to achieve a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from The University of Tampa in December 2023. This advanced degree equips him with cutting-edge skills to design and implement impactful learning solutions.
Throughout his career, Ryne's focus on instructional design and technology has been evident. He has successfully applied his expertise in various capacities, including as a Graduate Learning Designer Intern for the All in Democracy Coalition. During his tenure, he collaborated with subject matter experts to develop voter literacy courses, demonstrating his ability to design engaging and efficient learning experiences. Ryne's proficiency in instructional design is underscored by his role as a Baccalaureate Experience Faculty Instructor. In this position, he significantly increased adult learner campus participation and designed online eLearning courses that align with institutional design standards.
Ryne is an instructional design and technology innovator, continually seeking opportunities to leverage his expertise to enhance learning experiences. His commitment to personal and professional growth, combined with his track record of success, positions him as a valuable asset in the field of instructional design and technology.
Ryne currently resides in Tampa, FL, with his two cats, Theo and Luca, and his dog, Cooper.
